Welcome
to Ridge Top Aviary
We are a small, family-run
aviary in Harlan, Kentucky. We specialize in raising exceptionally sweet, handfed baby parrots. Located conveniently
between the two major cities of Knoxville TN., and Lexington KY, we are one and a half hours from Interstate I-75 . Our
babies are wonderfully socialized! We have little children running in and out all day long that love to hold and cuddle the
babies!
We
raise a variety of babies:
****Sun Conures, Blue Crown
Conures, Pineapple Green Cheek Conures, Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conures, Cinnamon Green Cheek Conures, Mitred Conures,,
Black Headed Caiques, Timneh African Grey, .We also raise Lady Gouldian Finches ****

Below is my Nephew Scott ,who got me started with my
website (Ridge Top Aviary ) . He brought Ashley his girlfriend to visit her baby to be, a Green Cheek Conure .
Our babies are very well socialized! They are raised, loved and hugged on by a family!

Another very neat thing that we do with our babies is that
we Flight Suit train them! We believe that this makes for more tolerant and adaptable adult birds. They will accept more if
they are put into "Ridge Top Boot Camp" as young babies. OK, not really Boot Camp, Flight Suit training camp! After the babies
get used to the suits, they really like them! They love to be outside in the bright sunshine where they can here all the other
wild birds. These little guys don't look too upset, do they?
