Lilly is the proud mother of 8 baby Gouldians this is her first
clutch of babies, in 2007.

Lilly was a Christmas gift  from a very special family who actually inspired me to breed and raise, Gods beautiful creatures
I suppose you could say, "we caught bird fever" from them .Our first Sun Conure baby (Cello) came from them it was the sweetest baby we had ever had , as soon as we opened her crate ,she went straight to my husband and cuddled under his chin , making those sweet baby noises.

*** Please read if you are considering raising Lady Gouldian Finches ***

So as our bird fever grew and did it ever ! We have since
bought our  Lady Gouldian Finches from them too "Actually twice we have bough them . The First time I had bought 10
babies (Juveniles) . I had ended up with 4 pair and 2 females.
We had let them grow into adult birds and given nest boxes to them ,  I was very excited , we were gonna have gouldian babies.
We did and they pitched their babies staight out of the nest boxes.  I kept getting so discouraged . Well to make a long story shorter , I sold them  to a friend who was waiting for babies from our pairs. We missed them terrible !  My husband said you want be happy until you get some more , He said ask "Beth" , why they wouldnt feed their babies ?

So that fall , I called "Beth & Family " at home aka www.Pamperedpeeps.com  .  "Lisa" , The oldest daughter anwered . I told her , I sold my Goulds . she  replied  " WHY" , I explained !  "They just wouldn't feed their babies ".They would consistenly ,sit until they hatched .  Then,  I would find them on the bottom of the cage. I was (Heart Broken) from it.
Beth and I went over everything . What I was feeding , if  I feed sprouts ? It seemed , I was doing everything needed "EXCEPT"
Were ,  I had them in the (Kitchen) . Their wasn't  enough privacy and the cage was way to small for 10 gouldians to breed and feel comfortable . I wished ,I had called  her before I made
my misstake . It was to late , I had sold them . If only I had been patient .
I ask , "if I could buy some more".  I had to Promise the girls
Jessie, Lisa and Anna . I wouldn't sell them . I did  so
I bought 16 this time . "Gary", my husband  made me the perfect
Gouldian Aviary outside .Its 8ft x 6ft x6ft , Since we have been very blessed with lots of Parent fed gouldians .

We will attach a couple of Gouldian videos of parents feeding the babies soon !!

Most people think that Lady Gouldian finches are the most colorful. They come in many color combinations, with black, red or yellow, heads and even more widely colored bodies. It isn't uncommon for these finches to have  brilliant purple or deep red plumage.
